Built in 1996, Caribbean Bay is Koreas first water park. Spanish stone buildings,
subtropical vegetation, and shipwrecked ships make Caribbean Bay very foreign
looking and romantic. Caribbean Bay has everything most popular beaches
have. The most popular attraction is the wave pool. It uses
a kind of sonar system to make everything from huge waves to ripples in the water,
and they make you feel like you are riding on actual waves. There is
also a pool 500 m long, surfing, and the thrilling body slider ride. The
indoor Aquatic Center is where patrons can enjoy the wave pool and running water
pool, and also play sports usually found at the beaches. A family sauna
and hot springs is available as well, and 15 spa pools are enjoyed by many tourists
for heath and beauty. Caribbean Bay possesses the perfect blend of
comfort and fun. Couples, friends, and families can enjoy Caribbean
Bay all year around.
Local Transportation
Direct buses: From Gangnam Station (Seoul Subway Line 2),
Exit No. 6, take Bus No. 5002. It comes every 30 min.
From Gyodae
Station (Seoul Subway Line 2 or Line 3) Exit No. 13, take Bus No.1500-1. It
comes every 25 min.
From Suwon Station (Seoul Subway Line 1), from across the
street, take Bus No. 6000. It comes every 20 min.
Local:
From Yongin Bus
Terminal, walk toward the city for 5 minutes, then take Bus No. 600, No. 6000,
or No. 66. Get off at the last stop.
