Shinchon is a lively neighborhood for the young generation. Several famous universities
are located nearby and the convenient transportation gathers a lot of young people
here.
It is a good place to shop because theatres, restaurants, cafes and shopping
malls are all around Sinchon Rotary. Cineplex Noksaek, located in Sinchon Rotary,
is a good place to sit back and enjoy movies. All the seats are big and comfortable.
It is a good place for couples to come because there are couple seats in every
theatre room. You can choose which movie to watch because there are seven movies
showing on different screens. There is takeout coffee, a fast food restaurant,
an arcade and a convenience store in the Noksaek Theater building. On the 2nd
floor there is a music shop where you can buy albums or DVD's. On the 3rd floor
is an internet cafe and a lounge for watching DVD's. There are large lounges on
all floors which are relaxing places to chat and read the movie posters. There
are plenty of places to look around in and outside the theatre building. If you
love shopping, visit the Hyundai Department Store connected to the Shinchon subway
station. You will find many young people waiting for their friends in front of
the Department store clock tower. If you want to look for cheap clothing shops
or accessories, turn around and walk towards Ewha Womans University. It
is only one subway station away from Shinchon.

At Shinchon Station (Seoul Subway Line 2) exit 4, walk toward
Ewha Womans University for about 5 minutes.
