The shrine is located at 168 Bogwang-dong, and
has a 182-pyeong-wide ground, a 3-pyeong shrine
and a 5-pyeong room. Fifteen portraits are placed
on the shrine and the altar is placed ahead. The
monument of General Kim Yu-shin is also placed
next to the gate.
The shrine was originally located next to the
river, and it was transferred to the present place
when the Gyeongwon-seon railroad was opened in
1941.
Besides the portrait of General Kim Yu-shin, 15
more portraits are placed, including Sanshin and
Sambuljaeseok. When Kim Yu-shin was attacking
Goguryeo, he took care of the local people after
winning a war.
Since then, they have held a ceremony for general
Kim Yu-shin. The ceremony is held on the morning
of January 1 around 8 o'clock and continues until
night.
